Simple Green Smoothies
Spinach is a powerhouse leafy green packed with vitamin K, calcium, magnesium, manganese for bone health; and plenty of vitamin B2 and B6 for a perfect energy booster! We encourage you to blend your leafy greens and liquid-base first to avoid leafy chunks (especially if you don't have a high-speed blender like a Blendtec or Vitamix). But another reason is so you can make more green smoothie in one blending session. I packed in 4 cups of leafy greens, then blended with 3 cups of water. After blending, I had room to blend in 3 cups of frozen mango, 1 cup of mixed berries, and 1/2 cup of pineapple.
